United Way 2-1-1 Behavioral Health Navigation

Behavioral health is just as important as physical health issues, but sometimes it’s not easy to ask for help. This webinar will provide an overview of United Way’s trained specialist that can provide confidential information about counseling, support groups and other forms of mental health assessment and treatment.

United Way of Pierce County has served our community since 1921. Our history is rooted in partnerships—bringing people from different walks of life together to improve conditions for children, families and individuals. Today we are leading change by breaking the cycle of poverty in Pierce County.

HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT MOST.

United Way connects individuals and families with programs and services to help them navigate through the barriers that are preventing them from becoming self-sufficient. Instead of multiple calls, our free helpline connects people in need with trained specialists to get matched with the right services. South Sound 211 provides access to hundreds of services and programs from Pierce, Thurston and Lewis Counties including: Behavioral Health Navigators.

Residents in our region experience particular challenges, so we have invested in specialists who are focused on transportation, housing, mental health and basic food enrollment services.
