Cultivating Relational Partnerships to Support Marginalized Communities

Join Dr. Ghynecee Temple for this special webinar conversation

Relational partnerships center the needs and values of marginalized communities in decision making. As educators, mental health professionals, community organizations, etc., it is important that we shift away from decision making strategies that do not incorporate the voices of our most vulnerable citizens. The relational partnership framework, adopted from the Washington State Office of Equity, aids community stakeholders in learning fundamental interpersonal skills and values that foster relational partnerships. Participants will learn the seven strategies that aid in building relational partnerships and consider how to integrate them into daily interactions, policy, and practice.
