Behavioral health is just as important as physical health issues, but sometimes it’s not easy to ask for help. Supporting the mental health of children and youth will require a whole-of-society effort to address longstanding challenges, strengthen the resilience of young people, support their families and communities, and mitigate the pandemic’s mental health impacts. This community conversation will provide an overview of where to turn when behavioral health services are needed for youth in our community. This will include an overview of the Pierce County Road Map to Youth Behavioral Heatlh Services tool and resources like: South Sound 2-1-1, Washington State Mental Health Referral Services for Children and Teens, Pierce County Behavioral Health Service Locator, and more!
