We’re excited to share a growing partnership between Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and the Boys & Girls Club of South Puget Sound to bring mental health support directly to youth this summer. Through this collaboration, Mary Bridges Youth Engagement Services (YES) will be providing Creating Connections Summer Therapy Groups that will be offered at multiple Boys & Girls Club locations, creating safe, supportive spaces for teens to build skills and connect with peers.

These small-group sessions are designed for youth ages 13–17 and will help participants:

• Explore emotions and mental health in a supportive environment
• Learn healthy coping strategies for stress and challenges
• Engage in interactive activities and group discussions
• Build connection, confidence, and a sense of belonging

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to meeting youth where they are and expanding access to early, supportive mental health resources across Pierce County. By embedding services within trusted community spaces like the Boys & Girls Club, more young people can access the support they need to thrive.
