Calling all parents, caregivers, and family members of children 3-12 years old who are eligible for DDA!
In partnership with the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), the Haring Center for Inclusive Education is offering a remote parent education series for parents and caregivers of children ages 3-12 years old focused on joining a community that is a safe space for parents and caregivers to share their experiences, offer support to one another, and strategize together to support challenging behavior at home. In this remote series, we will take a strengths-based approach to partner together to cover behavioral skills and strategies to support challenging behavior, as well as strategies to teach new skills and behaviors. This parent education series includes a behavior analyst, special education teacher, mental health provider, as well as a family advocate. This series will also include opportunities to discuss behaviors and problem solve strategies and supports and will include weekly handouts focused on behavioral skills and strategies.
